Join us for Faith & Race: Welcoming the Stranger, a three-week sermon and workshop series where we will engage with the pressing issue of justice for immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers during a time when followers of Jesus are being called to enter into solidarity with our immigrant neighbors. This 3-week series will facilitate a space for discussion on how people can engage in their community and practical training, tools and resources for activating justice locally and nationally with and for immigrants. Then be sure to join us on March 30 for our church-wide Day of Action where we will participate in an embodied act of justice as a congregation.
Week 1: Educate
Learn about the barriers facing immigrants in America.
Week 2: Discuss
Discuss what is broken in the U.S. immigration system and imagine a more just future.
Week 3: Activate
Commit to action as a church to further the cause of immigrant justice.
Day of Action: March 30
Live out our commitment to justice as a church through collective action.
