Omniri Gathering

The purpose of this group is to support the families of those who have loved ones incarcerated and those who want to engage in changing the criminal justice system. We’ll meet for support, prayer, and to share ways to advocate with one another.

The Omniri C- group will be having a special guest speaker for their next meeting on 11/26 from 12:30-2pm. The guest speaker will be Faraji Bhakti who has overcome the traumas of foster care and incarceration of over a decade and has emerged as a liberated individual. He continues to struggle for the liberation of many people that have been silenced and dehumanized through systems of oppression.

Faraji is now a trauma-informed  yoga instructor (trauma informed) and soundbowl practitioner. He does his work through Yoga Behind Bars and the Black Prisoners’ Caucus.  We cordially invite you to join us for his discussion and for Omniri C-Group meetings in the future. Hope to see you then!
