Israel-Palestine Panel Conversation

As we witness the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, we deeply grieve the violence and loss suffered by Palestinian and Israeli citizens who are caught in the middle of this war as the most vulnerable. As followers of Jesus, we seek peace in Gaza and the surrounding areas through prayer, stand with and for the oppressed, and advocate for justice where it has been broken.

With that in mind, please join us for an important and timely conversation on Sunday, October 29, from 12:15pm-1:45pm in the sanctuary. We are creating space for a panel discussion facilitated by Rev. Dr. Andy Larsen and Cari Conklin-Larsen with special guests, Dr. Bruce Fisk, an advisor to NEMA (Network of Evangelicals for the Middle East) and his wife Ale.

As we lean into our values of compassion, justice and global presence, we do so by making room for dialogue, educating ourselves and creating space for collective humility in a crisis that is deeply complex and painful. There is not a singular narrative, yet there are ways we can stay prayerfully engaged, informed and act.

Additionally, here are some helpful resources from Rev. Dr. Andy’s Linktree page focused on Palestine-Israel and ways to stay informed and engaged: https://linktr.ee/andrew.larsen
