Amplify Amara Donation Drive

For the month of August, Family Ministry & Domi Watkins are hosting a donative drive for Amara’s Family Resource Center. Amara’s Family Resource Center provides families with immediate help such as food*, diapers, and clothing, as well as connections to other resources such as healthcare, baby necessities, transportation, and parenting supports. We are launching a food drive to help fill food pantry shelves so more families can fill their cupboards. 

A donation bin will be located in the North Lobby for your donations, beginning Sunday August 6. QR codes will also be available to scan to read more information on the work Amara is doing along with other ways to support.

Most needed items are canned foods that can create a meal (chili, hearty soup, stew, spaghetti, ravioli), canned fruit, boxed cereals, especially Cheerios, rice (brown and white), snacks for kids of all ages (especially healthy snacks, but treats are nice too!), laundry soap, dishwashing soap, cleaning supplies, toilet paper.
