DESCRIPTION:As we prepare for our Faith & Race: Past, Future, Present series on April 14, 21, and 28, we invite everyone to join us for a critical pre-session led by Pastor Matt Hornbeck immediately following the service on Sunday, April 7. This pre-session is designed to help each of us participate in the Faith & Race Series fully present and mindful of our entry point.\nAlong with establishing the groundwork and expectations for how we engage in our Faith & Race conversations, we will also identify the dimensions of whiteness and their implications for racial dynamics in our church and the wider community. \nThis pre-session is an opportunity for all of us to deepen our understanding of the complexities of race and confront how whiteness operates in our lives.
