Beyond Sundays, C.Groups and Focus Groups allow us to connect, support, and grow as we learn to do life together. Summer C-Play!
QUEST SUMMER COMMUNITY PLAY
As most of our regular community groups break for the summer, it’s our hope that community and fellowship would continue through various "C.Play" groups focused on different activities throughout the city. Listed below are the current groups, but as schedules can change, please be sure to contact the leader ahead of time if you plan to drop by. C.Play groups are starting the week of July 1- let’s play!
- Outdoors
Enjoy the beautiful Seattle summer by kayaking on Lake Union (7/19), hiking on the Olympic Peninsula (8/2), and rock climbing (8/16). All levels of experience are welcome! To sign up and get more info about times and costs, contact Chris or Meggie at .
- Basketball
Ready for some hoops? Join us for full-court basketball, fellowship, and missed layups at Loyal Heights Community Center each Thursday from 7-9pm. All skill levels are welcome! For more info, contact Nathan at .
- Moms & Kids
Join moms and kids for park and craft days! This summer all moms and kids are invited to join the moms group fellowship for park dates around the city. We will meet every 2-3 weeks on Wednesdays from 10-12 at different playgrounds around town. Three kids craft days are scheduled at Andrea Pannell’s home in Lynnwood through the summer as well. - Film
In the past year, Quest has screened films like LUMO, the story of rape victims in the Congo, and Invisible Children, which tells of child soldiers in Uganda. There are tons of great documentaries out there highlighting issues of injustice taking place both locally and globally, so let's watch some together this summer! If there is a film you'd like to have shown or are interested in helping out with the screenings to come, please contact Kate at .
- Soccer
Want to play some soccer? The soccer group is tentatively set to play every other week on Tuesdays from 7-9pm. We're still working on a field, so let us know if you have the perfect location! For more details as things come together, contact Darwin at or Jason at jasonchang17@gmail.com.- Volleyball
This outdoor, introductory volleyball league will be for recreational fellowship, but will also have rules and a league ending tournament to crown a champion. League play will be six person Co-Ed (3-M/3-F), loosely based on AVP rules. All skill levels are welcome! Games will be played at Greenlake near the intersection of Greenlake way & NE 71st St on Sunday afternoons 2:30-4:30PM beginning July 6th. and ending August 24th. NEWCASTLE: Book of Ruth

QUEEN ANNE: Fruits of the Spirit
How do we nurture and grow the Fruits of the Spirit in our lives, when much of contemporary Western culture seems to be inhibiting their development? We will read a book by Philip Kenneson called Life on the Vine and study relevant Bible passages.

SOUTHSIDE SEATTLE : Intentional Community
This group desires to be intentional: in the way we live in community with each other and the ways we can love and support our neighbors. We will be digging deeper into what it means to be a "Christian Community" in the larger context of our South Seattle neighborhoods and how we can encourage each other in serving our neighbors. You don't have to live in South Seattle, but we do spend a lot of time talking about our local community!

MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDY & PRAYER Groups
We will be studying the book of John. While we're open to adding new members, we do ask for a weekly commitment for the sake of continuity and depth. After the study, there is also an hour or so dedicated to prayer. Come for the study, prayer, or both!

NORTH SEATTLE: Renovare
RENOVARE Spiritual Formation Groups are small fellowships that exist for mutual support, mutual encouragement, and mutual accountability as we participate in our transformation into Christlikeness. Drawing their format from small group models that span the centuries- from the Benedictines in the 4th Century to today- participants in these gatherings ask one another in various forms the old question, "How is it with your soul?" This year we will be going through the Renovare Spiritual Formation Guides (Prayer and Worship).

ALKI BEACH: Intentional Christlikeness
Our theme is Intentional Christlikeness: taking on the character of Christ in our everyday relationships. Through open reflection and mutual encouragement, we help each other in our journeys toward spirit change, working through practical, achievable daily steps that culminate in bringing our new heart to bear in a significant relationship. A hearty appetizer is served each week, with the occasional s'mores-fest around a fire pit on Alki Beach!

GREENWOOD: Gospel of John

Mystery of Hope
This focus group is for those struggling with depression, anxiety, or other mental health issues. If you are looking for a confidential setting within a faith community to find support, prayer, study, and the opportunity to share your story, please consider coming out to this group. Love Letters

MOMS Group
The moms group will be reading Shepherding a Child's Heart by Ted Tripp as a basis for an ongoing discussion about parenting, family relationships, and moms' needs. Time is spent sharing personal stories, praying for one another, eating and relaxing together, and digging in to scripture.
