How do I know I am ready to serve?

  • Are you in agreement with the vision and mission of Quest?
  • Have you attended Quest for at least 6 months?
  • Do you enjoy serving children and families?
Pick up an application and schedule a meeting with the children’s ministry staff to begin the process of becoming a volunteer.

We are excited you are considering getting involved in our kids ministry. Thank you for your desire to love and serve the children and families at Quest. It is our hope that this is a ministry where you feel at home, empowered to serve, and fully open to express the gifts God has given you.

For those of you who have worked with children for awhile, you know that children are wonderful and beautiful. Those that feel the calling to children's ministry, you know in your hearts the commission we have received by Christ himself in Matthew 19:14 when He says, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these". It is not enough to not prevent them from being enveloped in Jesus' embrace. We have been called to bring them to His feet, to usher them into His presence, to encourage them to seek the Lord.

Will you join with us? Will you accept the calling? Will you give of yourself that the children of Quest would not be "˜hindered', but rather be ushered into a life with God?

Quest children's ministry is not a large, organized, highly structured, highly programmatic ministry. We simply are. We love kids, we laugh together, play together, we teach God's word, and we discuss God's word. We need people who are willing to step up and lead, who like to make children smile, who do not mind acting a little wild and crazy sometimes, who are energetic, passionate, filled with love, and who feel the call to serve Quest by serving Quest kids and families. Thank you for your willingness to join the adventure!
