Depth classes represent the ministry at Quest that helps the church grow in its desire to learn, study, and deepen in faith and knowledge. Rather than simply telling people to believe blindly or journey through life without asking questions, Quest desires to challenge every person in the church to believe both faithfully and critically and to seek in order to grow in depth and understanding. A variety of classes are offered by the staff, leadership, and members of the church throughout the year.

Poetry as Intercession

Next Class: Saturday, March 11 | 9am-1pm
Taught by: Roxy Hornbeck, MFA To intercede means to "go between." In this interactive workshop, we will use the medium of poetry as a way to engage in the act of interceding on behalf of our church, our community, and our nation. The class will focus on three areas: learning about different poetry styles, spending time in guided reflection, and writing poetry - both individually and collaboratively. The class will culminate in a time of prayer through poems generated within the class. Whether you have written poetry before or not, there is room for you in this creative space.
