6.8 - Q COMMUNITY CAFE. Quest
gave birth to a separate non-profit organization called
QCD (Quest Community Development). Within QCD, we
are currently running an innovative 'neighborhood
community cafe' where we attempt to integrate cause and community
into our cafe. The Q Cafe runs a monthly outreach to the
homeless community, quarterly kids' programs, computer
classes, as well as a partnership with the Mayor's Office of Seattle
for senior citizens, and a venue for local artists and musicians.

- TO
THE STREETS.
Join the QJC Ministry Team to take compassion and
resources to the homeless community in the Ballard/Interbay
neighborhood every month. The ministry takes place the 3rd Saturday of each month.

- MARTIN
LUTHER KING, JR. Learn about the civil
right leader and his legacy. His faith in Christ was the crux of
his
voice and leadership. His 'dreams', inspired by God, are the
same dreams that we must dream as the Body of Christ. Also, listen
to Pastor Eugene's message about the necessity to elevate justice in the church's conversation and expression entitled,
"Find Your Own Calcutta."
- REFUGEE
ADOPTION. Quest is partnering with
World Relief
by adopting and hosting refugee families from all around
the world as they seek haven here in Seattle. We need you to do your
part and be a host.
. UPDATE:
2007, Quest is hosting refugee families from Burma.
