Community matters at Quest. Community Groups (C-Groups) are an essential way for people to connect with one another and build relationships. Following the academic calendar, our C-Groups meet in Questers homes throughout the greater Seattle area. During the summer months, our C-Groups take a break, and we encourage everyone to check out our summer Community Plays (C-Plays) listed below.
If you’re interested in joining a C-Play this summer, simply fill out the forms for those you are interested in. You will be added to whichever C-Plays you select and the group leader(s) will be in touch with more details.
You are more than welcome to sign up for more than one C-Play, but please only sign up for those you have a genuine interest in.

The Millers and a few folks from their C-Group are hosting a BBQ for Questers and their families at the Millers’ house on Sunday, August 13 from 3:00-7:00 with dinner at 5:00. Folks can bring their favorite BBQ side dish to share. They are close to Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, a short walk to Hickman Park, which has a great playground, and they have a sandbox, too!

Quest women, do you like to knit, crochet, scrapbook, color, make jewelry, or do another type of craft? Are you looking for a chance to talk with people? Come join us for an evening of fellowship and light snacks as you work on a current project, pick up a new hobby, or just chat.
Every other Thursday
Family Picnics in the Park
We’ll meet once a month or so for picnics in a park or waterfront area. This is for everyone, so bring the kids!
We’ll do several hikes around the area over the summer.
Ice Cream Socials
We hope to meet 2x a month and at a time when Questers of all ages can fellowship over ice cream (Note: Gelato is okay, but not fro-yo!) We will share highs/lows/prayer requests/ things we’ve learned over ice cream, which makes everything better. Locations will rotate around Seattle.
Local Cultural Excursions
Come join others explore and learn from our city’s cultural diversity. We’ll be visiting places like the Wing Luke Asian Museum, NW African American Museum, and others!
Movies in the Park
We’ll meet a few times over the summer to watch movies at the various parks in Seattle. Bring a blanket, some food or cash for food trucks, and enjoy!
This group is for participants with very little or a lot of mountain bike experience, families with kids are welcome and encouraged to join. We will meet at Duthie Mountain Bike Park roughly once a month to mountain bike together. Light snacks provided for everyone, and limited bike tools will be provided on site in case you have a mechanical breakdown. Duthie has trails for a variety of experience, from the extreme jumping freeride racer, to some groomed smooth training trails. Bring your own mountain bike and helmet, Mountain bike with minimum front suspension required, disc brakes required for all adults.
Multicultural Book Club
What’s on your summer reading list? Come hang, chat, and listen with others as we read together stories, narratives, and experiences from culturally diverse voices.
Pancakes in the Park
We plan to do selected Saturday mornings through the summer at Salmon Bay Park for parents to connect, kids to play and everyone to eat pancakes together.
Saturdays – Dates TBD

Slacklines & Paddleboards for Families
This will be a time for families with kids to get together at Green Lake, enjoy some fun with slacklines and/or paddle boarding the lake. We will have multiple slacklines set up for everyone to enjoy. We will have light snacks for everyone to enjoy. Bring your own paddle board if you want to join others on the lake as well.
